Work-based qualifications
360Science is the only curriculum to offer BTEC First Certificate and Diploma in Applied Science – the vocational alternative to GCSE. BTEC First qualifications provide work-based learning, are equivalent to GCSE grades A* to C and are 100% internally assessed.
In-depth results analysis
Our Results Analysis Service, available through Edexcel Online, provides detailed feedback on students’ performance at both candidate and question level. You can use this feedback to benchmark results against national standards, to compare your performance against other centres and to sort results by teaching group or gender. Engaging, electronic examinations
From 2007 onwards, we will offer formative electronic, onscreen assessment for GCSE Science. These engaging assessments will help to make the subject matter more stimulating for students, and give teachers quicker access to results.
More chances to succeed
Our curriculum enables all students to perform to their best and recognises the value of teachers’ professional judgement. With 40% internal assessment, students are given the opportunity to excel in non-exam conditions. Students can be assessed at any time, allowing them to be tested on material when it’s fresh, and can take multiple tests before submitting their best performance.
